The fire broke out on the ground floor of the five-story building in Khoda area under the jurisdiction of Hindon police station in Ghaziabad. Upon receiving the information, the fire service and local police immediately rushed to the spot. Quick action by the police and fire department ensured that all residents were evacuated safely from the building before the fire could spread further.


150 People Rescued Safely

In a major relief, all approximately 150 people residing in the building were rescued safely and brought out of the building. The timely response by the police and fire department prevented what could have been a major tragedy. Eight to ten people sustained minor injuries during the evacuation process and were given immediate medical attention at the spot.


Police Response

Hindon DCP Nimish Patil confirmed the incident and stated that upon receiving information around midnight, Khoda police station immediately swung into action. The fire service was alerted and teams were dispatched to the location without delay. The coordinated response between police and fire department ensured zero casualties in the incident.


Fire Under Control

Fire department teams worked through the night to bring the blaze under control. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Authorities are looking into whether an electrical short circuit or gas leakage was responsible for the fire breaking out on the ground floor.
